CAUSAL MODELING
MTPPI helps healthcare organizations establish their own Causal Inference Center of Excellence (COEs). Causal Inference (CI) methods are critical tools for assessing the effectiveness of healthcare treatment strategies and interventions. CI methods allow healthcare workers to solve real-world problems using existing observational data. While standard statistics focus on finding correlations, causal methods use temporal precedence, the controlling of confounders, and counterfactual reasoning to establish relationships between treatments and effects.

OUTCOMES RESEARCH
MTPPI's core mission is to help healthcare organizations use real-world data to improve patient outcomes. Our research is aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of medical interventions, whether they be medications, devices, procedures, or care delivery protocols. We also help organizations implement strategies to make their investigative trials more representative of racial and ethnic minority population groups. By identifying enrollment shortcomings in advance of trial initiation, sponsors can mitigate disparities and decrease the risk that their trial results are not generalizable to the US population.
03.
POPULATION HEALTH
MTPPI helps healthcare organizations enter the post-COVID environment by making improvements at the population level. We have taken lessons learned from the pandemic to create frameworks that enable health systems to engage with local communities to build resilience into care delivery systems. We can help your system build a "mission control" dashboard that sits on top of live data feeds and provides real-time insights into patient placement trends, ICT rounds, and discharge protocol compliance.
04.
PATIENT ENGAGEMENT
Active patient engagement provides a pathway toward quality healthcare, efficient services delivery, and improved outcomes. MTPPI can help you implement practices and systems that build partnerships where patients are active members of their care team. MTPPI can help you stratify your patient population and build profiles that incorporate individual factors that influence motivation, willingness to engage, knowledge retention, pre-existing biases and beliefs, prior experiences with the healthcare system, self-efficacy and functional capacity.

PRAGMATIC CLINICAL TRIALS
Randomized, embedded pragmatic clinical trials (ePCTs) give research hospitals and organizations the capacity and infrastructure to implement cost-effective, large-scale research studies. MTPPI can help you plan an ePCT by analyzing the logistical requirements of embedding the trial within the existing delivery of patient care. Once the trial has been designed, we can help you scale-up your acquisition infrastructure in order to extract relevant electronic health records, administrative claims, patient-reported outcomes, and medical product and device produced data.

“There are so many innovations taking place in medicine. We want to make sure that new studies are being done in a methodologically robust way that informs practice guidelines."
