Located six miles from the center of Washington, DC, MTPPI is within reach of the executive and legislative branches of government, including the National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration and CMS. In addition, many medical specialty groups, patient advocacy organizations and pharmaceutical and medical device industry associations are headquartered in the Washington, DC area, thus increasing the opportunities for professional interaction.
MTPPI has established collaborative relationships on a consultant basis with clinical and research professionals at a broad array of universities across the U.S.
MTPPI has access to numerous information resources and has 24-hour on-line access to more than 150 medical and biomedical research and business-related databases. The ability to retrieve the most current and comprehensive information available allows MTPPI to conduct research quickly, efficiently, and comprehensively.Databases
MTPPI regularly uses a wide range of databases from multiple data sources, including administrative billing records and primary data collection efforts. For example, MTPPI uses Medicare, Medicaid and several third party proprietary databases to conduct epistemology, outcomes and health services research. MTPPI researchers are always looking for collaborators to share data sources or research ideas using our in-house databases. Please contact us to discuss specific database requests or needs.
